Sanquahar Street Stairs, Cardiff

Sanquahar Street Stairs Mi – Space awarded Kingswood Engineering the Structural / Miscellaneous steelwork contract.

The Sanquahar street contract provided to be very challenging due to access and size of the site.

Despite these restrictions, and working closely with Mi – Space, Kingswood achieved what seemed near impossible at the start: A highly commended complex project within budget and program.

Abercarn Footbridge

Abercarn Footbridge Merriman Construction with Caerphilly County Borough Council awarded Kingswood Engineering the contract to fabricate, paint and erect a pedestrian footbridge linking a new housing development with the town of Abercarn.

The footbridge was fabricated in three sections, painted to highways specification and delivered to site.

Murco Refinery Berthing Platform

Murco Refinery Berthing Platform Kingswood Engineering first contracted work from Fugro Seacore during their involvement with the extension to the Irish ferry terminal in Pembroke Dock and have continued to work with/alongside Fugro Seacore on numerous projects, the new Berthing Dolphin at Murco Refinery, Milford Haven being one of these projects.

Tenby Lifeboat Station

Tenby Lifeboat Station Kingswood Engineering was nominated by Dean and Dyball to carry out the fabrication, galvanising and painting of Tenby RNLI Boat House. This also included an access bridge and all internal and external walkways.

The structural steel was delivered to Penally and shipped round to the boat house using amphibious vehicles, then lifted and positioned by tower crane on a jacked up barge.
